Which Flowers are Edible

As well as adorning our homes, being beautiful and fragrant, they can also be eaten.




That's right, flowers can be eaten like any other fruit or vegetable, but let's find out which ones and how to use them.

Edible flowers: 
Jasmine, Geraniums, Mint, Roses, Hibiscus, Chervil, Chamomile, Daisies, Fennel, Citrus, Orange, Angelica, Clover, Violets, Day lilies, Saffron, Elderberry.



Very useful for decorating a special dish!

You can find them fresh in supermarkets or dried ready-to-use in specialist kitchen shops or on the web.
Or pick them in the meadows or grow them yourself!
Don't forget to put them in salads... or in all your dishes to give flavour and colour.
