Prawn Salad with Thai Sauce
Another recipe for a tasty Thai-style salad, full of flavour, fresh, rich in vitamins and protein, ideal for staying in shape without giving up too much.
- Iceberg salad one log
- Songino 100g
- Red onions 2
- Walnut kernels 100g
- Cucumbers 1
- Coppery tomatoes 3
- Cherry tomatoes 15
- Yellow and red peppers 2
- Corn to taste
- Nuts to taste
- Boiled rice/ Quinoa/ Barley to taste
- Sesame seeds
- Round tomatoes 2
- Fresh medium hot chillies 2
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Vinegar 50ml
- White sugar 100g
- Water 200ml
- Salt 3g
- Rice/ potato starch or flour 20g
Procedure:
We wash the salads and all the vegetables, dry them and finely julienne them.
In a bowl starting with the iceberg lettuce we compose the dish, following with the rocket salad, snow peas, fresh tomatoes to taste, peanuts the cherry tomatoes, rice, raspberries, cucumbers and whatever else you like you can add many other fresh ingredients.
Procedure for the Thai sauce:
Wash the tomatoes and chillies, cut them in half and remove the seeds and inner part.
Put them in a blender with two cloves of garlic, vinegar 50ml, sugar 100g water 200ml, salt 3g (teaspoon), rice starch or flour as a thickener 20g and coriander or parsley to taste.
Blend all the ingredients roughly until completely smooth.
Transfer everything to a small saucepan and bring to the boil for about 5 minutes over a gentle flame.
Leave to cool and serve, here is your sweet and sour Thai sauce!
Dress your salad as desired, you can also add cashews, peanuts, or almonds....
